This project week we will introduce to the school a CNC machine.  This machine allows you to create a 3D design on the computer and then cut it out using the CNC machine.  Allowing you to cut, carve and shape pieces in wood, plastic, and other materials.  We would like to have a group project that will allow a team of students to create and learn how to use this machine.

Ideas to create could be: Something that will aid Travis Elementary such as part of a play ground, a item they have lost that would help the students.  Create something for Overlake's 50th.  OR an idea the students come up with as a group.

There will be a learning curve involved for all.  This is a piece of equipment the school is getting and it would be a chance to roll it out and have students try it out before it is used in a class setting in the arts and sciences.
