Have you ever thought about how the environment is affected by people?  Have you ever explored how you, me and other people in the Puget Sound area are affected by, and contributing to both, environmental problems and solutions?  Would you like to be a part of the solution by learning about our waterways, the communities that surround them, and how we can contribute on a daily and special basis as members of the community?  If you answered yes to any of these, come join us for a lot of learning and fun as we explore some of the biggest water ecosystems in the Puget Sound, and learn, get our hands dirty and work on solutions for our region.  We will be learning about the Superfund site in the Duwamish River by touring the area and looking at the many sides of the issue, We'll be exploring how trash is polluting the water in our area and will explore solutions, we'll be visiting the aquarium and learning about the marine region of the Puget Sound, and we will be involving ourself in some service projects also to contribute to the solutions and learn by doing.
