Creating your online niche

Spend a week exploring and creating your digital presence.   We will have one or two fieldtrips to see experts on the design and/or creation of a website.  Students can continue to work on a website that they have already started, or create one from scratch using WordPress.  Students will develop a theme for their site and build it using a variety of tools.  The majority of our time will be spent working on our websites, but we will also get off campus to hear some experts in the field, and do some usability studies of websites.  Depending on the interests of the group we may explore SEO, online commerce, podcasts, cartoon video production, etc.  ​
