This "river" will be comprised of both actual drawings and permanently attached bits and pieces of old computers, radios, phones, capacitors, wires, you-name-it. Keep in mind this is NOT a painted mural. Small amounts of paint may be required, but that will be to enhance the diagrams and drawings that relate to the theme of a flowing river. Folks in the art barn, in cahoots with various Tech Dept "syphoners", have been saving this wonderful junk for years. A number of very full boxes are currently waiting just for this project. If you have cool/peculiar bits of technology to donate, immortalize them in the river!

Special Considerations

This is a major project, requiring significant commitment. WHY? Because the concept is NOT a simple, paint-by-number activity. It will require many ideas to be tossed around before we can start. This "river" will be the result of a COLLABORATION between two art dept. faculty members and a group of seriously committed students who are willing to be part of a give-and-take PROCESS of planning and executing the river. This project is for students who enjoy and thrive while working with others.
