Startup Week Overlake School

What does it take to start a startup? Seattle and King County are home to some of the hottest startups and fastest growing tech companies in the world; the region has become a hot-bed of innovation and entrepreneurship. This Project Week will investigate what it takes to create a successful startup, and visit some of the companies and technologies behind this startup explosion. We hope to visit up to three startups that may include areas of technology such as BioTech, Virtual Reality, Gaming, eCommerce, Cloud services and SAAS, among many others. We will attend a program at either General Assembly or Startupp Seattle.  Students will create a web presence to share their experiences learning about the startup process;   and/or  to promote their business idea.
