Air and Space: The Final Frontier

Join us for an exploration of sky and stars as we experience the wonders of flight and of our solar system and deep space!  We’ll begin the week by visiting the Museum of Flight to learn about the dynamics of flight, create a flight-plan, and fly it in a simulator!  We’ll also visit Boeing’s massive plant at Paine Field, where the new 787 jet is being constructed.  Next, we’ll switch to the wonders of space, including a mobile planetarium from the Pacific Science Center and a mission to the Moon at the Museum of Flight’s Challenger Center!  We’ll also learn how to use a telescope and explore space from our own backyard!
