This project is a great opportunity for participants to enhance their leadership skills. Through experiential activities, games, and simulations (including the camp Challenge Course!), students will learn more about leadership styles. By participating in the camp, students will develop a better understanding and higher level of trust when working with a team. In addition, they will discover personal strengths and how to use them to bring out the best in others. Come grow your leadership skills at Overlake’s Overnight Outdoor Leadership Project!

The group starts with simple problems requiring basic communication and problem-solving skills. Groups work up to more difficult problems requiring trust and strong reliance on each other. The instructor uses props to create problems that must be solved with teamwork and group participation. Each day builds on the next.

Special Considerations

This is an Overnight Project.  Students will depart Campus on Monday morning and arrive back on campus Friday afternoon at 3 pm.
