Come Join Us for the Cambodia Banquet- May 5
As is tradition for Overlake, upon the return from Project Week in Cambodia, students and their families gather together on campus to share their memories. One recent student who visited Cambodia says the purpose of the banquet is to share with the broader community at Overlake.
“Although it may seem like an unlikely way to explore the rich cultural experience the Redmond faculty and students endured while in-country, the Cambodia Banquet is meant to allow students to share speeches about, photos of, and videos of the trip; to teach the traditional Khmer dances that we were taught; and to serve some amazing Khmer food,” explains Senior, Hailey B.
If you interested supporting The Overlake School in Pailin or being a part of the Cambodia Project Week in future years, stop by the banquet Saturday. Tickets and reservations are available online.
