7th and 8th grade semester elective.
Previous drama classes and/or performance experience is preferred, but not necessary. Course may be repeated.
This course explores acting and collaborative ensemble work through rehearsal and performance of a PLAY or MUSICAL. Students explore voice, movement, and characterization, and then apply these skills in a dramatic context. This course culminates in a fully-staged production on the Overlake mainstage.
Performance dates: October 31 & November 1, 2025, with after-school rehearsals beginning October 20.
