Mandarin Chinese B

Mandarin Chinese B is for students who have completed Mandarin Chinese A. At the beginning of the course, students will have a short review of what they learned in Mandarin Chinese A. Then they will continue to study language and culture more in depth. Emphasis will remain on listening comprehension and speaking skills. Simplified Chinese characters will be taught in this course. Students continue to practice writing characters while their typing skills improve in terms of speed and accuracy. Students will also develop a core vocabulary and knowledge of basic grammar for reading and writing.
