Power outage update

Power is still out on campus. We continue to monitor and are ready to have school when power is restored. We will update Friday around 5:00am in order to give PSE crews more time to restore power. Currently the estimated time for restoration is noon on Saturday, but we remain hopeful as pockets of power on the Eastside are coming on. Should we get power back by 5:00am Friday we would hold school with a regular start time, with our regular Friday schedule. Stay warm and safe. We'll reach out again in the early morning.

Algebra IA

Mathematics & Computer Science

Part one of a two-year course sequence, to be take in 7th grade.

There are two options for completing Algebra 1: a two-year course and a one-year course. Placement into these courses is done by the middle school math faculty in conjunction with the department head.

This course provides exposure to the more concrete topics of Algebra. Students will explore the basic principles and skills of simplifying expressions, polynomials, exponents, radicals, and solving and graphing linear equations and inequalities.
