Allie Hill - Class of 2016

Alllie Hill

Since graduating from Overlake in 2016, Allie has been following her passion for teaching. Currently teaching at Convent & Stuart Hall in San Francisco, Allie is enjoying being in the classroom with her second graders who keep her busy and active. Her best memories from Overlake include Outdoor Ed excursions and Project Week trips, experiences that gave her a special education experience that she now values even more as a teacher herself.

When Allie isn’t wrangling active second graders in her classroom, she’s busy with her own cocurricular activities, staying busy with yoga, cooking, running, biking, reading, gardening, and home improvement projects. Allie is also in the process of completing her 200-hour yoga instructor training so that she can expand her teaching experience to the fitness realm. Allie also volunteers at Friends of Alemany Farm, a group that manages the horticulture, volunteer, and educational programs at Alemany Farm, a 3.5-acre organic farm ecosystem in southeast San Francisco, stewarding the land in ways that speak to her background in stewardship and service from Overlake.
