5th Grade Battle of the Books 2020

Every year, the entire 5th grade participates in Battle of the Books, a combination reading contest and game show in which teams of students read books from a set list--half chosen by students, half by the librarian--and then compete to answer questions from those books. Answers to questions are always in the form of title and author. For example:

Question: In which book are beanie babies sacrificed to learn the future?

Answer: Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan

This year the grade was divided into eight Green/Gold teams, and the victorious team was Gold Team Four, with Sol, Zelina, Madeline, and Kabeer. Congratulations to them, and to all the participants for a fun Battle!
