Give the Gift of Life Today

Overlake's Outreach Club is teaming up with Bloodworks Northwest this Friday for a blood drive. 

Your donation makes an immediate difference in patients who are in need of blood. "It's a great way to give back to the community, and we know that each donation has the ability to save lives," says Jacqui Jackson, Director of Service Learning and Community Engagement. "The entire process takes about an hour, and we'd like to get as much participation as possible!"

Jackson is working with the Overlake's Outreach Club and Bloodworks Northwest to make sure as many appointments are filled for this Friday's event. Last month's snowstorm illustrates the importance of having a good blood supply. Due to the weather and icy roads, Bloodworks Northwest saw a major dent in donations which reached an emergency level.

Students age 16+ and adults are invited to participate, and you will need to bring this signed permission form to your appointment. Hard copies are also in Jacqui Jackson's office in the TLC Student Center.

It begins at 8:30am and runs until 2:30pm. It will take place in the gym.
