Meet the Counselors!
What is the most common visual at drop-off and pick-up each day? It’s the image of our campers giving hugs and saying “thank you” to the counselors, who are an integral part of the summer experience. The counselors worked tirelessly for all six weeks to create a fun and inclusive experience for everyone: they supported teachers in camps, organized community time, and chatted with the kids at lunch.
This year’s team all graduated from Overlake in 2017 and were excited to be back where they spent their middle school and upper school years. In fact, all four were “lifers,” starting at Overlake in 5th grade. Though they finished their first year of college, they are all kids at heart and loved spending time with the students. Before they head back to college, let’s learn a little bit more about them:
