Story in a Tweet Contest Winners!
This year, Overlake ran its first Story in a Tweet contest for the Middle School. The object was for students to write an entire story—beginning, middle, and end—in 140 characters, including spaces and punctuation; the length of one Twitter.com post, or a ‘tweet.’ Out of 67 amazingly short entries, the faculty voted, and here is the winner:
“A little old lady lived an ordinary life, but one day she found out that she could fly. She traveled around the world saving wild turkeys.” –Catherine
